Sauna and Cold Plunge in Los Angeles. Both. One Private Room.

Posture Lab LA pairs a full-spectrum infrared sauna and a 38–45°F cold plunge inside a single private suite at 3303 Pico Blvd. Suite G, Santa Monica, CA 90405 — serving Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Venice, Marina del Rey, Culver City, Brentwood and West LA. Heat, cold, shower and changing area are all in the same locked room, so you can run true contrast rounds without crossing a shared spa floor. Sessions are 50 minutes from $45, and no membership is required.

Infrared sauna and cold plunge together inside a private Posture Lab LA recovery suite in Los Angeles

Full-spectrum infrared sauna

Near, mid and far infrared at 140–150°F. Deep, sweat-forward heat that's easier to sit in for 15 minutes than a 190°F traditional room.

38–45°F cold plunge, steps away

Filtered and re-calibrated between every guest. The plunge is in the same room as the sauna, so a round takes seconds to transition — not a walk down a hallway.

One private suite, both modalities

No shared tub, no queue, no clock anxiety. Single or double occupancy, with your own shower and changing area inside the suite.

Westside-central, free street parking

On Pico Blvd between Santa Monica and Culver City — 10–15 minutes from Venice, Marina del Rey, Brentwood and West LA. No valet, no garage ticket.

Why "sauna and cold plunge" usually means two different rooms in LA

Most Los Angeles spas that advertise both put the sauna on one side of a shared floor and the plunge on the other, with a queue at each. That breaks contrast therapy: the transition between heat and cold is the part that does the work, and a three-minute walk with a wait at the end isn't a transition. Our suites solve it structurally — the infrared sauna, the 38–45°F plunge, the shower and your clothes are all behind one locked door for the full 50 minutes.

A 50-minute contrast protocol

Warm-up
Shower, hydrate, 10–15 minutes of infrared sauna at 140–150°F.
Round 1
2–3 minutes in the plunge at 38–45°F. Stay still and let the shiver reflex settle.
Round 2
10 minutes sauna, then 2 minutes cold. Breathe slowly through the nose.
Round 3
Optional third round if you have time — same ratio, shorter heat.
Finish
End on cold for alertness and focus, or on heat if you're heading to bed.

Go deeper: infrared sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy and compression therapy.

FAQ

Sauna and cold plunge in LA — questions.

Where can I find a sauna and cold plunge in Los Angeles?+

Posture Lab LA at 3303 Pico Blvd. Suite G, Santa Monica, CA 90405 puts a full-spectrum infrared sauna and a 38–45°F cold plunge in the same private suite, serving Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Venice, Marina del Rey, Culver City, Brentwood and West LA. Call (424) 433-4465 or book online.

How much does a sauna and cold plunge session cost in LA?+

A single 50-minute private suite with both sauna and plunge is $45. Memberships run $125/month weekly, $145/month twice weekly, $159.99/month three times weekly and $225/month unlimited. No initiation fee and no membership required.

Should I sauna before or after the cold plunge?+

Start hot. Ten to fifteen minutes of infrared sauna, then 2–3 minutes in the plunge, repeated for two or three rounds. Finish on cold for alertness, or on heat if you're going to sleep soon.

How many contrast rounds should I do?+

Two to three rounds inside a 50-minute session is the sweet spot for most people. More rounds mostly adds fatigue, not benefit.

Is the sauna and plunge private?+

Yes. The suite is yours for the full session — sauna, plunge, shower and changing area behind one door. Suites are single or double occupancy; add a guest at checkout.

What should I bring?+

Swimwear and yourself. Towels, robes and toiletries are provided, and there's a shower in every suite so you can head straight back to work or training.

Is contrast therapy safe?+

Heat and cold exposure are safe for most healthy adults. Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant, have cardiovascular conditions, low or high blood pressure, or a history of fainting. Hydrate before and after, and step out early if you feel lightheaded.

Do I need a membership to book?+

No. Any open slot can be booked as a single session online. Memberships only make sense once you're coming weekly.
